Refund Eligibility
Refunds are available under specific conditions. We've designed this policy to be fair while protecting the integrity of our educational programs.
- Full refund available within 14 days of enrolment if you haven't accessed more than 20% of course materials
- Partial refunds considered if you withdraw before completing 40% of the program content
- Technical issues preventing course access qualify for full refunds when reported within 7 days
- Course cancellations by Skill Cerixa result in immediate full refunds to all enrolled students
- Medical or personal emergencies may qualify for partial refunds on a case-by-case basis with documentation
How to Request a Refund
We've made the refund process straightforward. Here's what you need to do:

Explain your reason for requesting a refund. Be specific about any issues you encountered or circumstances that changed.
Await Review
Our team will review your request within 5 business days. We'll contact you if we need additional information.
Receive Response
You'll get an email confirming whether your refund was approved. If approved, processing begins immediately.
Refund Processing Timeline
Once approved, here's what happens next:
Days 1-2: Approval Confirmation
You'll receive written confirmation of your refund approval via email. This includes the refund amount and expected processing time.
Days 3-7: Processing
We process the refund through our payment provider. The exact time depends on your original payment method.
Days 7-14: Bank Processing
Your bank or credit card company processes the refund. This can take 5-10 business days depending on your financial institution.
Day 14+: Funds Received
The refund appears in your account. If you don't see it within 14 business days, contact us for assistance.
Partial Refund Calculations
When you qualify for a partial refund, we calculate it based on content accessed. If you've completed 25% of a course, you'd receive a 75% refund minus a small administrative fee.
The administrative fee covers processing costs and is capped at $50 AUD. For courses under $200, we waive this fee entirely.
Non-Refundable Situations
Some circumstances don't qualify for refunds. We've listed them here to avoid confusion:
Course Completion
Once you've completed more than 60% of course materials or received a completion certificate, refunds are no longer available.
Time Limits
Refund requests submitted more than 30 days after enrolment cannot be processed, except in documented emergency situations.
Promotional Offers
Heavily discounted courses purchased during special promotions may have modified refund terms outlined at purchase time.
Certification Fees
Third-party certification exam fees paid through Skill Cerixa are non-refundable once submitted to the certifying body.
Payment Method Considerations
Refunds are processed using your original payment method. Here's what to expect:
Credit or Debit Cards: Refunds typically appear within 7-10 business days after processing. Your bank statement will show "SKILL CERIXA REFUND" or similar text.
Bank Transfers: Direct refunds to your account take 5-7 business days. We'll need your current banking details if they've changed since enrolment.
PayPal or Digital Wallets: These usually process within 3-5 business days. Check your transaction history in the payment platform.
Payment Plans: If you enrolled using instalments, we refund paid amounts and cancel future charges. Partial refunds are calculated on total course value.
Special Circumstances
Life happens, and we get that. Medical emergencies, family crises, or unexpected job relocations might qualify for exceptions to standard policy.
Contact us with supporting documentation. We review each case individually and work with students to find fair solutions. Past students have received extended access instead of refunds when that better served their needs.
Course Transfers
Can't complete your current course? Consider transferring to a different program instead of requesting a refund.
We allow one-time transfers to courses of equal or greater value within 60 days of original enrolment. The new course must begin within 6 months. Price differences are charged or credited as applicable.

We stand behind our courses. If technical issues, outdated content, or instructor problems prevent you from learning effectively, we'll make it right.
Report concerns within 14 days of encountering them. We'll investigate immediately and offer solutions ranging from content updates to full refunds if we can't resolve the issue promptly.
This guarantee doesn't cover personal learning style mismatches or difficulty with course material. Our support team can suggest alternative resources or study strategies if you're struggling with content.
